시놉시스
아프가니스탄의 한 어린 소녀가 교육이 자신의 미래를 바꿀 수 있다고 믿으며, 친구들과 함께 학교로 향하는 여정을 시작합니다. 하지만 탈레반의 자살 폭탄 테러로 학교가 공격받으면서 그 희망은 산산조각이 납니다. 소녀는 목숨을 건졌지만 친구들은 목숨을 잃었고, 그들과 함께 소녀가 꿈꾸던 삶 또한 갑작스럽게 막을 내리고 맙니다.
안전과 학업을 이어갈 기회를 찾아 이란으로 피신해야 했던 소녀는, 국경을 넘는다고 해서 차별에서 벗어날 수 있는 것은 아니라는 사실을 곧 깨닫게 됩니다. 아프가니스탄 이주민으로서 그녀는 학교로 돌아가는 것을 가로막는 편견과 배제에 직면합니다. 빈곤과 피란 생활, 그리고 평등한 기회를 허용하지 않는 사회적 현실 사이에 갇힌 그녀는 결국 아동 노동의 굴레로 내몰리게 됩니다.

Synopsis
A young Afghan girl begins her journey to school alongside her friends, carrying the simple hopes and dreams of a child who believes education can shape her future. But that hope is shattered when her school is targeted in a suicide bombing carried out by the Taliban. She survives, but her friends are killed, and with them, the life she once imagined comes to an abrupt end.
Forced to flee to Iran in search of safety and the opportunity to continue her education, she soon discovers that crossing a border does not mean escaping discrimination. As an Afghan migrant, she faces prejudice and exclusion that prevent her from returning to school. Trapped between poverty, displacement, and a society that denies her equal opportunities, she is ultimately forced into child labor.

Worked as an editor, documentary maker, graphic designer, animator, and local reporter for a television station in Bamyan, Afghanistan.
